ABOUT ME

A native of Caldwell County, I started my nursing career at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, now Caldwell UNC Health Care in 2001. I spent most of my time there in the intensive care unit and emergency room while also pursuing a master’s degree and family nurse practitioner certification. Continuing a career with Caldwell as a nurse practitioner in internal medicine and urgent care then joining Carolina Orthopedic Specialists, now Emerge Ortho, in Lenoir.

For the last nine years, I have been with UNC Health Blue Ridge Urgent Care in Morganton, NC where I work in the clinic full-time and am the Fellowship Faculty for the Advanced Clinical Provider Urgent Care Fellowship. During this time, I completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Occupational Health Nurse Specialist Certification. Away from the clinic, I enjoy traveling with my husband and daughters, shopping, and watching my daughters dance with the StarstepsDance Competition Team.
